Why we finally decided to do a silent launch of the new website

Yesterday we had a team meeting to of our new website for our own brand. We are almost ready to make the strategic change from a website that sells third-party products to selling only our own brand products.

In the end, we decided to do a silent launch. What is a silent launch? You may have guessed it already. It’s a launch without making any noise. You eliminate the launch campaign that typically accompanies a new project.

There are always things that are wrong

The reason for this is quite simple. There new zealand whatsapp number data are always things that can go wrong. There is always a broken link, an incomplete legal text, an incorrect description. That is why we have chosen to launch it first so as not to get too much traffic later and to give more visibility to this type of failure. No matter how well you try to do before launching, something always fails. I have seen this in projects of clients much larger than ours who have taken more time to test the website than we have.

Prepare a campaign with more time

There are two or three basic things we get to know doppler’s new christmas templates want to do: a campaign on Facebook, on Instagram, on TikTok and a mailing to our database. These are tasks already planned in Jira but we haven’t had time to give them the necessary attention these days. The team is fully loaded with tasks for the second sprint and we also have two days off this week. It was the smartest decision. Pokémon sales compared to the previous month are stable.

We have dropped 0.1k but this is not too significant

Here we are also miscounting own data on brand products but I am not worried at the moment. We have lost one of our top sellers due to a listing block which we need to recover.

It will be a big step for us to finally launch the new website, this time built with Shopify. From there it will be easier to make continuous improvements. One of the things that will follow immediately after that will be the acquisition of affiliates. It will be fun.
